Subsidies for municipalities in the Autonomous Community of Cantabria affected by the risk of depopulation, to finance their expenditure on e-government services, in accordance with the principles of objectivity, competitive competition and publicity, to encourage them to integrate and improve their information systems necessary for administrative management in their various areas of action, for the benefit of all its residents, promoting them as a guarantee of equal access to public services, and contributing to compliance with and improvement in the comprehensive development of the legal obligations that correspond to them in terms of electronic administration, by virtue of the provisions of Law 39/2015, of 1 October, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations and Law 40/2015, of 1 October, on the Legal Regime of the Public Sector.
The costs of maintenance, support and technical assistance after the implementation of electronic administration, as well as training and assistance to staff on the information systems necessary for the administrative management carried out by the City Councils in the calendar year corresponding to each call, will be considered eligible expenses.
The following actions are eligible for subsidies:
a) Information systems implementation and integration services necessary for administrative management, such as their maintenance, support and post-implementation technical assistance.
b) Training courses for staff belonging to the Local Entity benefiting from the subsidy aimed at the implementation and integration of information systems necessary for administrative management.
c) Assistance to the staff using the information system necessary for administrative management hired or belonging to the Local Entity beneficiary of the subsidy, as a result of incidents in its operation.

The City Councils of municipalities in the Autonomous Community of Cantabria affected by the risk of depopulation will be able to benefit from these aids, in accordance with current regulations, currently Order PRE/1/2025, of 2 January, which approves the Delimitation of Municipalities Affected by Risk of Depopulation in Cantabria.
Deadlines and submission

The deadline for submitting applications and corresponding documentation will be fifteen working days, counted from the day following the publication in the Official Gazette of Cantabria of the extract of the call referred to in article 20.8.a) of Law 38/3003, of 17 November, General Subsidies. If the last day of the period is not a working day, it will be understood to be extended to the next working day.
