Requirements for beneficiaries:

1.- Small and medium-sized enterprises in the private sector (SMEs), whether natural or legal persons, including self-employed and mutual society members of professional associations, as well as private non-profit entities, may be beneficiaries of the aid, provided that they meet the requirements of Article 13 of Law 38/2003, of 7 November, General Subsidies, and Article 12 of the Law of Cantabria 10/2006, of 17 July, on Subsidies of Cantabria.
2.- They must carry out their activity in the Autonomous Community of Cantabria.
3.- They must accredit, prior to the issuance of the proposed resolution, that they are up to date with the fulfilment of their tax obligations with the State Tax Administration Agency, with respect to Social Security and their obligations with the Administration of the Autonomous Community of Cantabria.

For consideration as SMEs, the provisions of Annex I of Commission Regulation (EU) No. 651/2014, of 17 June 2014, will be applied.

In order to determine the number of workers hired by the applicant company, the number of people who appear in their working life on the day of registration of the contract with the Social Security or the start of the extension will be taken into account, counting the worker for whose contract or extension the subsidy is requested.

Requirements of the people hired:

a) Be registered as job seekers with the Cantabrian Employment Service prior to and until the date of registration with the Social Security, with at least one day of seniority.
b) Be unemployed in the same period of time.
c) Be under 30 years of age.

For the purposes of determining the length of time spent unemployed and the age of the worker, the date that appears as registration with the Social Security in their working life report will be taken as a reference.

The deadline for submitting applications will remain open continuously, and each application must be submitted within one month, counted from the day following the date on which the registration with Social Security has taken place due to the contract or its extension, except in the event that it has taken place prior to the publication of Decree 58/2021, of 24 June, in which case the period will be one month from the day following the publication of this decree in the Official Gazette of Cantabria.

.- Legal entities are obliged to submit applications electronically, through the General Electronic Registry of the Administration of the Autonomous Community of Cantabria, in accordance with the provisions of article 14.2 of Law 39/2015, of 1 October, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations. The electronic certificate with which the documentation submitted is signed must correspond to the person who holds the legal representation of the applicant company.
.- Individuals may also make the application in person, in accordance with the provisions of Article 14.1 of Law 39/2015, at the Directorate General of Labour, Calle Hernán Cortés 3º, Santander, directly, or in the other forms referred to in Article 134 of Law of Cantabria 5/2018, of 22 November. of the Legal Regime of the Administration and the Institutional Public Sector of the Autonomous Community of Cantabria. If the application is sent through the postal service operator, it shall be submitted individually in an open envelope, so that the header of the first page of the document to be sent clearly states the name of the office and the date, place, hour and minute of its admission, in accordance with the provisions of Article 28 of Royal Decree 437/2024, of 30 April, approving the Postal Services Regulations, in development of the provisions of Law 43/2010, of 30 December, on the universal postal service, user rights and the postal market.
