REGULATORY BASES FOR THE GRANTING OF THE YOUTH AWARDS OF THE AUTONOMOUS COMMUNITY OF CANTABRIA. The purpose of these awards is to highlight, recognise, and support the career, commitment, initiative or effort of those young people who, through their dedication to their work or their personal involvement, show their commitment to different social areas, influencing the social, economic or cultural development of young people; as well as the work and trajectory of groups and entities that, in their respective areas of activity, carry out a relevant work or activity that has a positive impact on the development of youth in Cantabria.
The Youth of Cantabria awards will be awarded in each of the following categories:
a) Entrepreneurship. Recognition of companies or business projects undertaken by young people that stand out for their values, originality, innovation, creativity and/or contribution to economic or social development.
b) Art and culture. Recognition of the trajectory of young people or projects undertaken mainly by young people who, through their action in the area of arts or culture, stand out for their projection and/or have contributed to the transmission of values.
c) Sport. Recognition of the trajectory of young people or projects undertaken mainly by young people who, through their action in the area of sport, stand out for their projection and/or have contributed to the transmission of values.
d) Science and Research, Innovation and Technology. Recognition of initiatives or actions developed by young people or projects undertaken mostly by young people in the field of science and research, innovation or technology.
e) Social commitment. Recognition of young people, groups of young people or projects undertaken mostly by young people that promote and promote equality between men and women and/or respect for sexual and/or gender diversity, solidarity or inclusion.
(f) Sustainable development. Recognition of actions carried out by young people, groups of young people and/or projects undertaken mainly by young people, capable of satisfying current needs without compromising the resources and possibilities of future generations, guaranteeing a balance between economic growth, social well-being and respect for and care for the environment.

The Cantabria Youth Awards are aimed at young people born or registered in Cantabria and at groups or entities made up mostly of young people who stand out in achieving the objectives set out in article 1.2 of these rules and have their registered office in Cantabria.
For the purposes of this order, young people are understood to be people between the ages of 14 and 35, and must have reached that age on the date of the deadline for the submission of candidatures for the Awards established in each call.

- Art. 14. 2 of the Law 39/2015, of 1 October, of the Common Administrative Procedure of the Public Administrations, establishes the obligatory nature of the electronic management for certain subjects as, for example, a) The juridical persons, b) Entities without legal personality, c) Those who carry out a professional activity for which compulsory membership is required, for the procedures and actions they carry out with the Public Administrations in the exercise of said professional activity. In any case, within this group, notaries and property and mercantile registrars shall be included. d) Those who represent an interested party who is obliged to relate electronically with the Administration, e) The employees of the Public Administrations for the procedures and actions that they carry out with them due to their condition of public employee, in the form in which it is determined by regulation by each Administration.

- The submission of candidatures by natural persons will be made in the General Electronic Registry of the electronic headquarters of the Government of Cantabria https://sede.cantabria.es/ or in any of the forms referred to in article 16.4 of Law 39/2015, of 1 October, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations and in article 134 of Law of Cantabria 5/2018, of 22 November, on the Legal Regime of the Government, the Administration and the Institutional Public Sector of the Autonomous Community of Cantabria.
- Legal entities will submit their candidacies in the General Electronic Registry of the electronic headquarters of the Government of Cantabria https://sede.cantabria.es/ or in any of the electronic registries referred to in Article 16.4 of Law 39/2015, of 1 October, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations and in Article 134 of Law of Cantabria 5/2018, of 22 November, on the Legal Regime of the Government, the Administration and the Institutional Public Sector of the Autonomous Community of Cantabria.

Against the resolution of the procedure, which puts an end to the administrative procedure, an appeal for reconsideration may be lodged, optionally, before the head of the competent department in matters of youth, within a period of one month from the day following its notification, or directly a contentious administrative appeal before the High Court of Justice of Cantabria within two months of count from the day following the notification of the resolution.
