Applicants:

  1. Comply with the requirements of Article 13 of Law 38/2003, of 17 November, and Article 12 of Cantabria Law 10/2006, of 17 July, whether natural or legal persons, small and medium-sized enterprises in the private sector (SMEs), including the self-employed, self-employed and mutual society members of professional associations, as well as private non-profit entities.
  2. Carry out their activity in the Autonomous Community of Cantabria and conclude the eligible employment contracts with the persons mentioned, for each programme, in Chapter II of Decree 57/2021, of 24 June. The execution of their work must be carried out in workplaces located in the Autonomous Community of Cantabria, and they must meet the other requirements and conditions established in the aforementioned decree.
  3. Prove prior to the issuance of the proposed resolution that they are up to date with the fulfilment of their tax obligations with the State Tax Administration Agency, with regard to Social Security and their obligations with the Administration of the Autonomous Community of Cantabria.

To hire - full-time or part-time equal to or greater than 60% - of unemployed people registered as job seekers and services in the Cantabrian Employment Service, at least one day prior to and until the date of registration with the Social Security or to proceed with stable hiring through the conversion into permanent - full-time or part-time equal to or greater than 60%, and not less than the working day of the contract - without interruption, of fixed-term or temporary contracts, including traineeships and training and apprenticeship contracts.
  5. The subsidised recruitment or transformation must lead to an increase in employment. To this end, the average number of workers who have remained registered at some point during 2020 in the company will be compared with the average number of workers who have remained registered at some point in 2021 in the company.
  6. Contracts or transformations that cause registration with Social Security between 1 January 2021 and 31 December 2021, inclusive, will be eligible.

Deadline for submission

One month from the day following the date on which the contract was registered with Social Security or the conversion.
In the case of initial permanent contracts that have caused registration between 1 January 2021 and 6 July 2021, the period will be one month from the day following the latter date. The subsidies will be extended to contracts and transformations that cause registration with Social Security between 1 January 2021 and 31 December 2021, inclusive.
