Beneficiaries may be natural or legal persons, provided that they have tax residence in Cantabria, as well as public entities, including town councils, groups of local and private entities, with and without profit, including entities dependent on local, regional or state entities, as well as professionals registered in the Special Regime for Self-Employed Workers.
In no case may the regional or local entities that convene or receive the funds obtain the status of beneficiaries, but the foundations or public bodies dependent on them with their own legal personality and that meet the requirements established in Article 6 can. 2 of Order UIC/12/2023.
The beneficiary of the subsidy must be the executor in economic terms of the investment corresponding to the project submitted to this call.
In no case may those who are in any of the circumstances of article 12, paragraphs 2 and 3, of the Law of Cantabria 10/2006, of 17 July, on Subsidies, acquire the status of beneficiaries.
Given the direct link of this aid to the Plan for the Modernisation, Transformation and Resilience of the Spanish economy, the beneficiaries may only be those who have permanent physical residence in Spanish territory.

Place(s) for in-person submission

Those interested may submit applications at the Registry of the competent departments in matters of culture (C/ Lealtad 24, Santander) or through the Common Electronic Registry (REC), available at the Electronic Headquarters of the Government of Cantabria, or at any of the places indicated in article 16.4 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, and article 134.8 of Cantabria Law 5/2018 of 22 November. In any case, the subjects listed in Article 14.2 of Law 39/2015, of 1 October, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations are obliged to interact with public administrations through electronic means.

If the application is sent by post, (a case provided only in the case of a natural person who requests), it must be submitted in an open envelope to be dated and stamped by the postal employee before he or she proceeds to certify it, in accordance with the provisions of Law 43/2010. of 30 December, on the Universal Postal Service, on the Rights of Users and the Postal Market, and on the regulatory regulations governing this matter.
