Subsidies on a competitive basis for the realization of musical tours for professionals.

This line of subsidies on a competitive basis for the realization of tours in musical matters is aimed at professionals, whether individuals or private legal entities with a corporate form, who have their tax domicile in Cantabria, who carry out their activity in Cantabria for the realization of tours in musical matters, and who are registered with the Tax on Economic Activities.

Individuals or legal entities dedicated to the organization of musical tours, promotion or musical contracting, being only intended for professional musicians, may not be beneficiaries of this subsidy.

The requirements required of the beneficiary to obtain the subsidy must be maintained from the deadline for submission of applications and until the time of justification of the aid granted. Those who incur in any of the circumstances established in Article 12 of the Law of Cantabria 10/2006, of 17 July, will not be able to obtain the status of beneficiary.

In order to carry out musical tours, it is necessary that the tour schedules a minimum of four performances in Cantabria and a minimum of one performance in an Autonomous Community other than Cantabria or in other countries. The authorisations of the authors or the corresponding management entities must be obtained for the use of the work, for this purpose a declaration of responsibility will be sufficient, without prejudice to the possibility of requesting such authorisations at any time.

When the works or shows belong to the public domain, a declaration must be made in this regard.

Requirements

Requirements
  1. Private companies, whether individuals (sole proprietors) or legal entities with a corporate form, which have their tax domicile in Cantabria, may be beneficiaries of this subsidy; that they are registered with the Economic Activities Tax (I.A.E.) in the sector of activity related to those that are the object of the subsidy; that carry out the subsidized activity in Cantabria, without prejudice to the realization of part of the tour outside the territory of the Autonomous Community; and that they meet the rest of the requirements established in the regulatory bases and in this call.
     
    Natural or legal persons who are dedicated to the organization of musical tours, promotion or musical contracting, being only intended for professional musicians, may not be beneficiaries of this subsidy.

2. The beneficiaries must maintain the requirements that allowed them to access such consideration until such time as they justify the application of the funds received to the purpose for which they were granted.
 
3. Those who are in any of the circumstances established in article 12, paragraphs 2 and 3, of Cantabria Law 10/2006, of 17 July, may not obtain the status of beneficiary.
 
Associations, foundations and other non-profit entities are expressly excluded from the status of beneficiaries.

Art. 14. 2 of the Law 39/2015, of 1 October, of the Common Administrative Procedure of the Public Administrations, establishes the obligatory nature of the electronic management for certain subjects as, for example, a) The juridical persons, b) Entities without legal personality, c) Those who carry out a professional activity for which compulsory membership is required, for the procedures and actions they carry out with the Public Administrations in the exercise of said professional activity. In any case, within this group, notaries and property and mercantile registrars shall be included. d) Those who represent an interested party who is obliged to relate electronically with the Administration, e) The employees of the Public Administrations for the procedures and actions that they carry out with them due to their condition of public employee, in the form in which it is determined by regulation by each Administration.
Place(s) for in-person submission

Individuals may submit their application to the Registry of the competent departments in matters of culture (C/ Lealtad 24, Santander) through the Common Electronic Registry (REC), available at the Electronic Headquarters of the Government of Cantabria, or in any of the places indicated in article 16.4 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, and article 134.8 of Cantabria Law 5/2018 of 22 November.

Appeals

Type

Against the resolution of the procedure, which puts an end to the administrative procedure, an appeal for reconsideration may be filed with the head of the competent department or with the Governing Council if it issued the resolution, within 1 month from the day following its notification, or directly contentious administrative appeal before the High Court of Justice of Cantabria within two months from the day following the publication of the resolution.
