Subsidies aimed at promoting the participation of young people in Cantabria in camp programmes and volunteer camps.

Subsidies that, on a competitive basis, grant the departments with competences in youth matters in order to promote the participation of young people in Cantabria in camps and volunteer camps.
These subsidies are intended exclusively to co-finance the expenses related to the participation fee in volunteer camps or camps by young people who at the time of carrying out the activity were between 12 and 17 years old, both inclusive, and registered in Cantabria.
The activity whose participation is subsidized may be held in Cantabria or outside Cantabria, and must last a minimum of 7 consecutive days, with an obligatory overnight stay in the facilities of the activity of a minimum of 6. In the case of young people with dependency or disability, the minimum duration of the activity will be 5 consecutive days without requiring an overnight stay.
Each call will determine the time frame in which the activities must have been held in order for participation to be eligible.
Participation in summer camps or volunteer camps organised by the Directorate-General responsible for youth will not be eligible.

Requirements

The beneficiaries of this subsidy may be the father, mother, or legal representative of the young person who participates in an eligible activity or minors who from the age of 16 may be emancipated, with only one of these four people being able to be a beneficiary.
Both the participant in the activity and the beneficiary of the subsidy must be registered in Cantabria at least twelve months prior to the date of publication of the extract of the call.
In no case may those who are in any of the circumstances detailed in Article 12, paragraphs 2 and 3, of the Law of Cantabria 10/2006, of 17 July, on Subsidies, acquire the status of beneficiary.

Applications must be submitted in the General Electronic Registry of the electronic headquarters of the Government of Cantabria https://sede.cantabria.es/ or in any of the forms referred to in Article 16.4 of Law 39/2015, of 1 October, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations and in Article 134 of Law of Cantabria 5/2018. of 22 November, on the Legal Regime of the Government, the Administration and the Institutional Public Sector of the Autonomous Community of Cantabria.
If, in the exercise of this right, the application is sent by post, it must be submitted in an open envelope to be dated and stamped by the Correos employee before he or she proceeds to certify it, in accordance with the provisions of Law 43/2010, of 30 December, on the Universal Postal Service, on the rights of users and the postal market. and in the regulatory regulations governing this matter.
