Subvenciones destinadas a favorecer la participación de las personas jóvenes de Cantabria en programas de campamentos y campos de voluntariado.

Subvenciones que, en régimen de concurrencia competitiva, conceda la consejería con competencias en materia de juventud al objeto de favorecer la participación de las personas jóvenes de Cantabria en campamentos y campos de voluntariado.
Estas subvenciones se destinan exclusivamente a cofinanciar los gastos referidos a la cuota de participación en campamentos o campos de voluntariado por jóvenes que en el momento de realización de la actividad tuvieran de 12 a 17 años, ambos inclusive, y empadronados en Cantabria.
La actividad cuya participación se subvencione podrá celebrarse en Cantabria o fuera de Cantabria, y deberá tener una duración mínima de 7 días consecutivos, con obligada pernocta en las instalaciones de la actividad de un mínimo de 6. En el caso de jóvenes con dependencia o discapacidad la duración mínima de la actividad será de 5 días consecutivos sin que se requiera la pernocta.
Cada convocatoria determinará el ámbito temporal en que deban haberse celebrado las actividades para que la participación sea subvencionable.
No será subvencionable la participación en campamentos de verano o campos de voluntariado organizados por la Dirección General competente en juventud.

Podrán ser beneficiarios de esta subvención el padre, la madre, o el representante legal de la persona joven que participe en una actividad subvencionable o los menores que a partir de los 16 años puedan encontrarse emancipados, pudiendo ser beneficiario exclusivamente una de estas cuatro personas.
Tanto el participante en la actividad como el beneficiario de la subvención deberán estar empadronados en Cantabria al menos con doce meses de anterioridad a la fecha de publicación del extracto de la convocatoria.
En ningún caso podrán adquirir la condición de beneficiario quienes se hallaren en alguna de las circunstancias detalladas en el artículo 12, apartados 2 y 3, de la Ley de Cantabria 10/2006, de 17 de julio, de Subvenciones.
