Requirements

Once the commission of an infringement in consumer matters is known, either as a result of a complaint, communication from another administrative body or hierarchical superior or as a result of a consumer inspection action, the Director of Industry, Trade and Consumer Affairs will agree to initiate the sanctioning proceedings, in accordance with the powers attributed to him or her by Article 59 of Law 1/2006. of 7 March, on the Defence of Consumers and Users in Cantabria.
