Intervention on movable property declared or initiated as an Asset of Cultural Interest (B.I.C.) or an Asset of Local Interest (B.I.L.).

Any intervention in a movable property declared or initiated B.I.C. or B.I.L. will require prior authorisation from the Department of Culture, Tourism and Sport, for which it will obtain the reports it deems necessary, either from the advisory bodies provided for in the Law of Cantabria 11/1998 or from other public or private institutions dedicated to the conservation and restoration of cultural assets.

Requirements

The applicant must identify at the request the movable property to be intervened and the company or professional that is going to carry out the intervention and must accompany an intervention project that incorporates a report on the cultural value of the property and a justifying evaluation of the proposed intervention, with a diagnosis of damage, budget, treatments and planned intervention and maintenance criteria.
