Requirements
Active tourism companies, for the purposes of this provision, are considered to be those registered in the Register of Tourism Companies that offer active and adventure tourism activities to the public. Exceptionally, they may not be located in rural areas.
The requirements relating to the technical infrastructure and modality of development of these activities will be those demanded by the Federations and bodies that channel the practice of the same.
For its registration in the Register of Tourist Companies after operation, the following documentation must be provided:
a) National identity card and N.I.F. of the natural person who owns the activity or the representative of the company or company in question.
b) Document accrediting registration under the heading of the Economic Activities Tax corresponding to the activity carried out.
c) Duly certified photocopy of the civil liability policy in an amount appropriate and sufficient to the risks inherent to the activity in question.
d) Descriptive report of the activities and services offered by the company as well as the material resources it has.Active tourism companies that in the performance of their main activity provide the accommodation of their clients as a complementary service must comply with the requirements set out in this provision for the type of accommodation in question.

- Art. 14. 2 of the Law 39/2015, of 1 October, of the Common Administrative Procedure of the Public Administrations, establishes the obligatory nature of the electronic management for certain subjects as, for example, a) The juridical persons, b) Entities without legal personality, c) Those who carry out a professional activity for which compulsory membership is required, for the procedures and actions they carry out with the Public Administrations in the exercise of said professional activity. In any case, within this group, notaries and property and mercantile registrars shall be included. d) Those who represent an interested party who is obliged to relate electronically with the Administration, e) The employees of the Public Administrations for the procedures and actions that they carry out with them due to their condition of public employee, in the form in which it is determined by regulation by each Administration.

At the Registration Assistance Office of the General Directorate of Tourism located in the Science and Technology Park of Cantabria, C/Albert Einstein, 4º 1ª de Santander or in any of the established places referred to in article 134 of the Law of Cantabria 5/2018, of 22 November, of the Legal Regime of the Government, the Administration and the Institutional Public Sector of the Autonomous Community of Cantabria.
If the application is sent by post, it must be submitted in an open envelope so that the name of the office and the date, place, hour and minute of its admission by the postal staff are clearly stated at the head of the first page of the document, in accordance with the provisions of Article 31 of Royal Decree 1829/1999. of 3 December, which approves the Regulation regulating the provision of postal services insofar as it does not conflict with Law 43/2010, of 30 December, on the universal postal service, on the rights of users and the postal market.

Required documentation
Responsible Declaration The Responsible Declaration that they must sign must include the details of the Active Tourism Company as well as stating that they have civil liability insurance contracts in force, which sufficiently cover the possible risks attributable to the company for the offer and practice of the active tourism activities they provide. as well as a rescue, transfer and assistance insurance policy derived from an accident in the provision of such active tourism services with the minimum amount of coverage of six hundred thousand euros per claim. We also have the equipment and approved material, for the practice of the activities and which is in an optimal state of conservation and maintenance. If the approval or standardisation requirements are not established, they must indicate in their declaration of responsibility that the equipment and materials used in the activities are of quality and guarantee the safety of the user, being, in any case, in an optimal state of conservation and maintenance.
