Requirements

  1. Statutory staff of the Cantabrian Health Service who have the necessary functional capacity to exercise the profession or carry out the activities corresponding to their appointment may voluntarily request to extend their stay in active service until they reach a maximum of 70 years of age, provided that there are care needs, in accordance with the Human Resources Management Plan of the Cantabrian Health Service.
  2. Extension of active service may also be requested by statutory staff of the Cantabrian Health Service who, at the time of reaching the age of compulsory retirement, have six years or less of contributions remaining to cause a retirement pension.
