Requirements
In accordance with the provisions of Article 31 of the Law of Cantabria 2/2000, of 3 July, on Sport, basic sports clubs acquire legal personality at the time of their registration in the Register of Sports Entities of Cantabria. To do this, it is necessary for the promoters or founders to present the Club's Founding Act in the Register, which must be notarised by at least five individuals as promoters or founders and must include their will to constitute a club with a sporting purpose. The founding act must be accompanied by the provisional statutes of the club, and other documentation required for this purpose in article 87 of Decree 72/2002.
The payment of the fee must be made in advance of the application and the proof of the same must be attached to it.

- Art. 14. 2 of the Law 39/2015, of 1 October, of the Common Administrative Procedure of the Public Administrations, establishes the obligatory nature of the electronic management for certain subjects as, for example, a) The juridical persons, b) Entities without legal personality, c) Those who carry out a professional activity for which compulsory membership is required, for the procedures and actions they carry out with the Public Administrations in the exercise of said professional activity.
