Concessions in the public port domain (Puertos de Cantabria).

To preserve and conserve the physical and legal characteristics of the port public domain in an efficient manner, through the granting of concessions for works, installations or uses compatible with port uses in ports owned by the Autonomous Communities.

The fee for private occupation or special use of the port public domain: - Land occupation fee: 3.94 euros per square metre per year. - Fee for occupying a sheet of water: 0.98 euros per square metre per year. - Fee for the use of facilities or the public domain: six percent of the cost of the facilities. - Fee for special use of the port public domain: may not exceed 5 per cent of turnover.

Requirements

That the public port domain is to be occupied with non-removable works or installations or for a period of more than three years. Applications for concession may only refer to works, facilities or uses compatible with the rules and precepts established by the special plan for the development of the port area, or failing that, the respective plan for the use of the corresponding port area.
