Requirements
That the interconnection system to be installed is approved and registered in the Gaming Registry.
Minimum number of machines to be interconnected: three.
Maximum, only for "B3" machines: eight.Article 9 of Decree 23/2008, of 6 March, approving the regulations on recreational and gambling machines.
Type "B1" and "B2" machines, installed in gaming halls and bingo halls, may be interconnected with others installed in other gaming halls and in other bingo halls, within the Autonomous Community of Cantabria. The interconnection system must meet the following requirements:
a) The central server must be installed within the territorial scope of the Autonomous Community of Cantabria and must control the interconnection system as a whole.
b) The interconnection system of the machines must guarantee their constant communication and in real time, reflecting in the control and management system any event in the development of the game within the minimum time established by regulations for a game.
c) It must have the corresponding adapters to which the amusement machines that make up the carousel of the interconnection system are connected.
d) You must have an internal network within each gaming hall or bingo hall that connects the adapters of the machines to a local server or concentrator of the gaming hall or bingo hall.
e) It must have an external network that connects the gaming hall or bingo hall with the central interconnection system.
f) It must have visualisers connected to the network of each gaming hall or bingo hall, intended to inform at any time of the prizes and the status of the interconnected game.
g) The arcade machines interconnected to the system must interact directly with the player without being able to incorporate any additional element that makes the development of the game depend exclusively on them.
Type "B4" machines may interconnect with others of the same type installed in other gaming halls, within the Autonomous Community of Cantabria.
The interconnection systems must be approved and registered in the Gambling Registry.Article 13 Interconnection of type "C" machines.
The type "C" machines can be interconnected in order to be able to award special prizes called "super bags", the sum of the "bag" prizes of each of the interconnected machines or depending on the number of bets. They may also award prizes in kind that the player will have the option to exchange for legal tender or a previously announced value.
This circumstance must be expressly and clearly stated in each interconnected machine.
The casino will notify the competent departments in matters of gambling, prior to its operation, the interconnection of machines, without in any case being less than three the number of interconnected machines in each group or carousel.
