Requirements

Requirements

1. The promoters of a tourist camp and/or a service area for motorhomes, before starting any kind of work for its construction, refurbishment, and/or change of use, may make a prior consultation with the Directorate-General responsible for tourism.
2. The prior consultation will be formulated in accordance with the standard form that appears in Annex I, duly signed by the promoter and must be accompanied by the following documentation:

  • Document proving the identity of the promoter and, where appropriate, of its legal representative, which must be in force, in the event that the Directorate-General responsible for tourism is not authorised to consult and verify the data accrediting their identity to the data verification system, in accordance with Decree 20/2012, of 12 April, on Documentary Simplification in Administrative Procedures. In the case of legal persons, the deed of incorporation of the company and subsequent modifications must be provided, as well as a copy of the power of attorney accrediting the representation held in any case.
  • Preliminary project or basic project of the installation signed by a competent technician.
  • Photographs of the current state of the plot, accompanied by the urban planning certificate of the property subject to the installation.

3. If the request for prior consultation does not meet the requirements set out in section 2 of this article, the Administration will be required to correct the documentation within 10 working days from the day following its notification, with an indication that, if it does not do so, it will be considered withdrawn and it will be archived without further processing. without the issuance of a report.
4. Without prejudice to the provisions of the previous section, the promoter may be requested to provide any other document deemed necessary to verify that the planned action complies with current tourism regulations.
5. The Directorate-General responsible for tourism must respond in writing to requests for prior consultation, through a report issued for this purpose, within a maximum period of 2 months. Failure to respond within this period will not imply acceptance of the criteria expressed therein.
6. The response to prior consultations will only be binding on the Directorate-General responsible for tourism in its area of competence when the works carried out are in accordance with the preliminary project or basic project initially presented and will not be subject to any appeal.

Place(s) for in-person submission

At the Registration Assistance Office of the General Directorate of Tourism located in the Science and Technology Park of Cantabria, C/Albert Einstein, 4º 1ª de Santander or in any of the established places referred to in article 134 of the Law of Cantabria 5/2018, of 22 November, of the Legal Regime of the Government, the Administration and the Institutional Public Sector of the Autonomous Community of Cantabria.

If the application is sent by post, it must be submitted in an open envelope so that the name of the office and the date, place, hour and minute of its admission by the postal staff are clearly stated at the head of the first page of the document, in accordance with the provisions of Article 31 of Royal Decree 1829/1999. of 3 December, which approves the Regulation regulating the provision of postal services insofar as it does not conflict with Law 43/2010, of 30 December, on the universal postal service, on the rights of users and the postal market.
