Interested parties must apply to the Directorate-General responsible for tourism for authorisation to open the tourist camp by submitting the standard authorisation and classification form in Annex II.

The application must be accompanied by the following documentation:
a) For individual entrepreneurs and when acting through a representative, the accreditation of the power of attorney and a photocopy of the document accrediting the identity of the represented, if applicable. Likewise, in the event that the Directorate-General responsible for tourism has not been authorised to consult and verify the data accrediting the identity of the promoter and its representative, in the event that it is a legal person, the interested party must provide the corresponding supporting documents.
b) In the case of legal persons, communities of property, civil companies, etc., a photocopy of the deed of incorporation and, where appropriate, of its subsequent amendments, contracts, statutes or document proving the incorporation, validity, corporate purpose and identification of its members, and a photocopy of the powers of representation if they are not clearly deduced from the deed or document proving the incorporation.
c) Execution project approved by the corresponding Professional Association, in accordance with the provisions of sectoral legislation.
d) Sufficient legal title for the exploitation of the land as a tourist camp.
e) Favourable environmental impact report or environmental verification, if applicable, in accordance with the provisions of the environmental assessment regulations.
f) Final certificate of work.
g) Municipal opening licence for said activity, if applicable.
h) Registration with the Tax Agency in the economic activity to be carried out, and registration of the company with the Social Security, prior to the submission of the application, in the event that the Directorate-General responsible for tourism has not been authorised to consult and verify this data.
i) Document accrediting the payment of the fee for the opening of a tourist establishment (tourist camp) that, where appropriate, is due, in the event that the Directorate-General responsible for tourism has not been authorised to consult and verify this income.

Once the Administration has inspected the works, facilities and services, the Directorate-General responsible for tourism will issue the opening authorisation and its corresponding classification, which will authorise the company to carry out the tourist activity from the day following its notification, which will proceed ex officio to its registration in the General Register of Tourist Companies of Cantabria. The deadline for making a decision will be six months from the day following the submission of the application.. The documentation accrediting compliance with the requirements of the regulations in force for the development of the aforementioned activity must be available to the Directorate-General responsible for tourism. The interested party is obliged to maintain compliance with the requirements demanded in the tourist regulations for the opening and operation of the tourist camp until the cessation of its activity occurs.

Art. 14. 2 of the Law 39/2015, of 1 October, of the Common Administrative Procedure of the Public Administrations, establishes the obligatory nature of the electronic management for certain subjects as, for example, a) The juridical persons, b) Entities without legal personality, c) Those who carry out a professional activity for which compulsory membership is required, for the procedures and actions they carry out with the Public Administrations in the exercise of said professional activity. Place(s) for in-person submission

At the Registration Assistance Office of the General Directorate of Tourism located in the Science and Technology Park of Cantabria, C/Albert Einstein, 4º 1ª de Santander or in any of the established places referred to in article 134 of the Law of Cantabria 5/2018, of 22 November, of the Legal Regime of the Government, the Administration and the Institutional Public Sector of the Autonomous Community of Cantabria.
If the application is sent by post, it must be submitted in an open envelope so that the name of the office and the date, place, hour and minute of its admission by the postal staff are clearly stated at the head of the first page of the document, in accordance with the provisions of Article 31 of Royal Decree 1829/1999. of 3 December, which approves the Regulation regulating the provision of postal services insofar as it does not conflict with Law 43/2010, of 30 December, on the universal postal service, on the rights of users and the postal market.
