Article 13. Decree 23/2008 of 6 March:
3.- The casino will notify the competent departments in matters of gambling, prior to its operation, the interconnection of machines, without in any case being less than three the number of interconnected machines in each group or carousel. The communication must specify the number of machines to be interconnected, the way to make the link and the prize offered.
4.- If no objections are raised to it within ten days of the receipt of the letter of communication of the interconnection, it may be carried out, without prejudice to the provisions of the following section of this article.
5.- The competent departments in gambling matters may prohibit the interconnection of machines when it considers that any of the requirements referred to in the previous sections are not met, unless said irregularity is corrected within a period of ten days, counting from the notification of the objections formulated.
Article 24 (registration of game elements and equipment):
1.- The application for approval and registration of models will be processed by the competent department in gambling matters, which may require the interested party to provide the additional information and documentation that may be necessary. The procedure shall conclude with the approval of the model, after carrying out the test provided for in Article 19, if the established regulatory requirements are met.
2.- Once the provisions of the preceding rules have been completed, the competent departments in gambling matters, will adopt the appropriate resolution and notify it to the interested party, proceeding, where appropriate, to the registration of the model in the Gambling Registry, assigning it the number that corresponds to it.

2. The material, components or elements used in the practice of games and bets will be that previously approved by the competent department in gambling matters and registered in the Gambling Registry.
Such approval shall consist of carrying out prior tests in order to verify whether a particular material, component or game element complies with the technical or manufacturing characteristics required, where appropriate, by the specific regulations of each game or in its implementing provisions.
Where, due to the characteristics of the material in question, it is not necessary to predetermine a regulation of technical characteristics, approval shall be understood as the procedure for verifying the equipment, component or playing element by which compliance with the functionality for which they have been intended is verified.
