To establish the regulatory bases for the regional interventions in Cantabria provided for in the CAP Strategic Plan aimed at productive investments in agricultural holdings linked to contributing to the mitigation and adaptation to climate change and efficient use of natural resources, energy efficiency and the production of green energies and investments in the modernisation and improvement of agricultural holdings.

Requirements
- Requirements
Owners of agricultural holdings located in Cantabria who are professional farmers and also meet the following requirements:
a) The farm must be of sufficient size to be technically and economically viable, which will at least result in a Unit Income from Work (RUT) of 20% of the Annual Reference Income. Farms registered in the Catalogue of Priority Agricultural Holdings of Cantabria will also be considered viable.
b) The farm must be registered in the official registers of livestock and/or agricultural holdings in the name of the beneficiary, except in the case of young or new farmers with a favourable resolution, who, simultaneously with their establishment, present an environmental improvement plan on their farm.
c) Submit an environmental improvement plan for the farm or an improvement plan with the minimum content of articles 8 and 9 and detailed in Annex III.
d) Be registered in the census of economic activities of the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness (form 036 or 037) for the agricultural activity.The owners of holdings that have the status of natural persons must also meet the following requirements at the time of submission of the application:
a) Be eighteen years of age or older and do not have a resolution recognising retirement benefit issued on the date of application.
b) Be a professional farmer, unless it is a young person or new beneficiary of an establishment aid in the agricultural activity who is within the period to acquire this status.
c) Be registered in the Special Social Security Regime for Self-Employed Workers (RETA) for the exercise of agricultural activity, with or without incorporation into the Special System for Agricultural Self-Employed Workers (SETA).
d) Have sufficient professional training, unless it is a beneficiary of aid for the establishment of young people or new farmers, who is within the deadline to acquire this status.The owners of holdings that are legal persons, communities of property, civil societies without a commercial purpose and holdings under a shared ownership regime, must also meet the following requirements at the time of submission of the application:
a) That its corporate purpose is mainly the exercise of agricultural activity.
b) At least 50% of its members meet the requirements specified in section 2.
c) That more than 50% of its share capital belongs to members who are professional farmers.
