Requirements
- Requirements
- Be a municipality or supra-municipal local entity, within the geographical scope of the Autonomous Community of Cantabria, which hires unemployed people for the execution of works or the provision of services classified as being of general and social interest and who have sufficient technical and managerial capacity for the execution of the corresponding project.
- Comply with the requirements established in Article 13 of Law 38/2003, of 17 November, General Subsidies, and in Article 12 of Cantabria Law 10/2006, of 17 July, on Subsidies of Cantabria.
- Prove prior to the issuance of the proposed resolution that they are up to date with the fulfilment of their tax obligations with the State Tax Administration Agency, with regard to Social Security and their obligations with the Administration of the Autonomous Community of Cantabria.
- That the works or services of general or social interest to be carried out by the applicant entities meet the following requirements:
a) That they are works or services of general or social interest and are the responsibility of local entities, including those works or services that are carried out on real estate that the applicant entities make available to the Cantabrian Employment Service.
b) That they are executed by the applicant entities under direct administration.
c) That in its execution or provision the professional training and practice of the unemployed people who are hired is favoured and that the beneficiary entities provide the participants with professional information, guidance or training during the term of the subsidised contracts. In addition, measures related to the updating of digital knowledge will be adequately developed, in particular with participants with low professional qualifications.
d) That the works or services, as well as the contracts made to the persons subject to the subsidy, have a minimum duration of three months and a maximum of six months.
e) That the entity applying for the subsidy undertakes to finance the part not subsidized by the Cantabrian Employment Service for the performance of the work or service in question, which will be the subject of a responsible declaration by the legal representative of the entity in the same application instance.
f) That in the event that the works or services are carried out in an area or locality with seasonal employment cycles, they are preferably carried out in periods of low level of contracting.
