Subsidies for the implementation of cultural activities and projects.

This line of subsidies on a competitive basis aims to carry out cultural activities and projects in five modalities:

A. Professionals and Companies: Grants for the promotion and dissemination of the plastic arts, aimed at creators and curators.

B. Professionals and Companies: Aid for cultural spaces dedicated to the performing arts and film screening, as well as cultural spaces dedicated to the exhibition of plastic arts.

C. Professionals and Companies: Grants for the organisation of fairs, festivals and other similar cultural events.

D. Local Entities of the Autonomous Community of Cantabria: Aid for the realization of cultural activities.

E. Private associations and foundations: Aid for the realization of cultural activities.

Requirements

Requirements
  1. Individuals (individual entrepreneurs) and private legal entities with a corporate form that have their tax domicile in Cantabria may be beneficiaries of subsidies in modalities A, B and C, aimed at Professionals and Companies; that they are registered with the Economic Activities Tax (I.A.E.) in the sector of activity related to those that are the object of the subsidy; that they carry out the subsidized activity in Cantabria, without prejudice to the fact that they may carry out any activity outside the Autonomous Community; and that they meet the rest of the requirements established in the regulatory bases and in this call for the corresponding modality.
     
    - Modality A (Grants for the promotion and dissemination of the plastic arts): artistic creators \ may be beneficiaries, for the production of works of art and development of artistic projects that are going to be presented or developed in appropriate cultural spaces; and artistic curators, for the development and organisation of cultural projects of an innovative nature, which aim to stimulate and publicise the visual arts and which pay special attention to Cantabrian creators or those resident in Cantabria.
     
  • Category B (Grants for cultural spaces dedicated to the performing arts and film screening, as well as the exhibition of plastic arts): companies that manage privately owned cultural spaces dedicated to any of these activities may be beneficiaries.
     
    In the case of companies that manage private cultural spaces dedicated to the exhibition of plastic arts, the registration in the I.A.E. must be specifically under heading 615, sub-heading Art galleries.
               
  • Category C (Grants for the organisation of fairs, festivals and other similar cultural events): professionals and companies that propose to organise a fair, festival or cultural meeting may be beneficiaries.
     
  1. Local Entities of Cantabria that are going to carry out cultural activities and meet the rest of the requirements established in the regulatory bases and in this call for this modality may be beneficiaries of a subsidy in modality D.
     
  2. Private associations and foundations of a cultural nature registered in the corresponding Register of the General Secretariat of the Department of the Presidency, Justice, Security and Administrative Simplification of the Government of Cantabria may be beneficiaries of a subsidy in category E; that are especially dedicated to activities related to the promotion of arts and culture; and that comply with the rest of the requirements established in the regulatory bases and in this call for this modality.
     
    4. The beneficiaries must maintain the requirements that allowed them to access such consideration until such time as they justify the application of the funds received to the purpose for which they were granted.
     
    5. Those who are in any of the circumstances established in article 12, paragraphs 2 and 3, of Cantabria Law 10/2006, of 17 July, may not obtain the status of beneficiary.

Art. 14. 2 of the Law 39/2015, of 1 October, of the Common Administrative Procedure of the Public Administrations, establishes the obligatory nature of the electronic management for certain subjects as, for example, a) The juridical persons, b) Entities without legal personality, c) Those who carry out a professional activity for which compulsory membership is required, for the procedures and actions they carry out with the Public Administrations in the exercise of said professional activity. In any case, within this group, notaries and property and mercantile registrars shall be included. d) Those who represent an interested party who is obliged to relate electronically with the Administration, e) The employees of the Public Administrations for the procedures and actions that they carry out with them due to their condition of public employee, in the form in which it is determined by regulation by each Administration.

In the Registry of the competent departments in matters of Culture (C / Lealtad 24, Santander) or through the Common Electronic Registry (REC), available in the Electronic Headquarters of the Government of Cantabria, or in any of the places indicated in article 16.4 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, and article 134.8 of Law of Cantabria 5/2018, of 22 November.

Type

Against the resolution of the procedure, which puts an end to the administrative procedure, an optional appeal for reconsideration or directly a contentious-administrative appeal may be filed before the courts of that jurisdictional order.

Contentious-administrative appeal: High Court of Justice of the Autonomous Community.

Deadline
Appeal for reconsideration: One month from the publication of the resolution if it is express. If it is not express, at any time from the day following the day on which the effects of the alleged act occur. Contentious-administrative appeal: 2 months from the publication of the resolution of the procedure or, where appropriate, from the resolution of the appeal for reconsideration. If there is no express resolution of the appeal, at any time from the day following the day on which the alleged act takes effect.
