This line of subsidies on a competitive basis aims to carry out cultural activities and projects in five modalities:
For professionals and companies:
MODALITY A. Grants for the promotion and dissemination of the plastic arts, for creators and curators.
CATEGORY B. Grants for cultural spaces dedicated to the performing arts and film screening, as well as for cultural spaces dedicated to the exhibition of plastic arts.
MODALITY C Grants for the organization of fairs, festivals and other similar cultural events.
- Local Entities of the Autonomous Community of Cantabria (MODALITY D): Grants for the realization of cultural activities.
- Private Associations and Foundations (MODALITY E): Grants for the realization of cultural activities.

Requirements
Private natural or legal persons in the form of a company, as well as local entities of the Autonomous Community of Cantabria or Private Associations and Foundations of a cultural nature that meet the requirements established for each modality in the call and that carry out their activity in Cantabria. Their tax domicile must be and the eligible activity must be carried out in Cantabria. The requirements required of the beneficiary to obtain the subsidy must be maintained during the period for submitting applications and until the time of justification of the aid granted.
-Professionals and Companies: they must be registered with the Tax on Economic Activities (I.A.E.) in the sector of activity related to which they are the object of the subsidy. Modalities:
A. Grants for the promotion and dissemination of the plastic arts, for plastic artists: The production of works of art and the development of artistic projects that are going to be presented or developed in appropriate cultural spaces will be eligible for aid. For artistic curators: The development and organisation of innovative cultural projects that aim to stimulate and publicise the plastic arts and that pay special attention to Cantabrian creators or residents in Cantabria will be the object of grants.
B. Aid for cultural spaces dedicated to the performing arts and film projection and cultural spaces dedicated to the exhibition of plastic arts. Those who manage privately owned cultural spaces may be beneficiaries of these subsidies. In the case of spaces dedicated to the exhibition of plastic arts, their activity must be registered under heading 615 of the Economic Activities Tax, subheading Art galleries.
C- Grants for the organization of fairs, festivals and other similar cultural events.-Local entities:
D. Aid to Local Entities of the Autonomous Community of Cantabria for the implementation of cultural projects and activities.-Private associations and foundations of a cultural nature:
E. Private associations and foundations of a cultural nature that are especially dedicated to activities related to the promotion of arts and culture: they must be registered in the corresponding Register of the General Secretariat of the Department of the Presidency, Interior, Justice and Foreign Action of the Government of Cantabria.
