The purpose of this order is to establish the regulatory bases and call for subsidies, to be granted on a competitive basis for the municipalities of the Autonomous Community of Cantabria, aimed at strengthening connectivity at speeds of 1 Gbps, in public reference centres and for the reinforcement of the electronic communications networks of the public reference centres themselves for the financial year 2025, including those municipalities that have been beneficiaries under Orders IND/51/2022, IND/30/2023 and FOM/07/2024 and FOM/19/2024 for the same reference centres in the part of the investment that has not been subsidised, and in other reference centres.
In no case will investments and expenses that have been committed or made prior to November 18, 2021 be eligible.
In addition to projects that have not previously been beneficiaries of subsidies, those that have been beneficiaries under Orders IND/51/2022, IND/30/2023, FOM/07/2024 and FOM/19/2024, in the investment part
that has not been the object of a subsidy, and in other reference centres.
The maximum intensity of the aid may not exceed 100% of the eligible costs stated in the report, including Value Added Tax, up to a maximum of €200,000 per beneficiary. The remaining amount up to the total cost of the action will be assumed by the city council.- The amount of the subsidies may in no case be of such an amount, that alone or in concurrence with other subsidies, aid, income or resources, it exceeds the cost of the subsidized activity.
The infrastructures and equipment that are the object of aid must remain assigned to the specific purpose of the project for a minimum period of 5 years, counted from the end of the project, or until the end of its useful life if it is less than 5 years. its withdrawal or suppression being cause for revocation and reimbursement of the subsidy.
In no case may the cost of acquiring the eligible expenses be higher than the market value.
The legal regime, specific applicable regulations, requirements and obligations of the beneficiaries will be those established in Law 38/2003, of 17 November; in its Regulations approved by Royal Decree 887/2006, of 21 July, as well as in Law 10/2006, of 18 July, on Subsidies of Cantabria.
- The amount of the subsidies may in no case be of such an amount, that alone or in concurrence with other subsidies, aid, income or resources, it exceeds the cost of the subsidized activity.
