Requirements

Natural or legal persons who intend to carry out any regulated hospitality activity. The concept of restaurant, cafeterias and bars includes all establishments, whatever their name, serve to the public, for a price, food and drinks, to be consumed in the same premises.

Art. 14. 2 of the Law 39/2015, of 1 October, of the Common Administrative Procedure of the Public Administrations, establishes the obligatory nature of the electronic management for certain subjects as, for example, a) The juridical persons, b) Entities without legal personality, c) Those who carry out a professional activity for which compulsory membership is required, for the procedures and actions they carry out with the Public Administrations in the exercise of said professional activity. At the Registration Assistance Office of the General Directorate of Tourism located in the Science and Technology Park of Cantabria, C/Albert Einstein, 4º 1ª de Santander or in any of the established places referred to in article 134 of the Law of Cantabria 5/2018, of 22 November, of the Legal Regime of the Government, the Administration and the Institutional Public Sector of the Autonomous Community of Cantabria.
If the application is sent by post, it must be submitted in an open envelope so that the name of the office and the date, place, hour and minute of its admission by the postal staff are clearly stated at the head of the first page of the document, in accordance with the provisions of Article 31 of Royal Decree 1829/1999. of 3 December, which approves the Regulation regulating the provision of postal services insofar as it does not conflict with Law 43/2010, of 30 December, on the universal postal service, on the rights of users and the postal market.

CHANGE OF OWNERSHIP IN RESTAURANT/CAFETERIA/BAR ESTABLISHMENT

The company that owns the establishment affirms, under its responsibility, that it complies with the requirements established in the current regulations to carry out the activity of restaurant/cafeteria/bar in the terms reflected in this declaration, that it has the documents that prove it and that it undertakes to maintain compliance with it until the cessation of the exercise of said activity. The new owner of the establishment notifies the Directorate-General responsible for tourism, within a maximum period of one month, of the change of ownership. Once the change of ownership of the restaurant/cafeteria or bar has been communicated, under the established terms, the Directorate-General responsible for tourism will proceed, ex officio, to register it in the General Register of Tourist Companies of Cantabria
