Requirements
  1. Category A: All individuals and work teams formed for this purpose of Spanish nationality or of one of the Member States of the European Union.
  2. Category B: Public employees of any public administration, in an individual capacity or as part of a team. To this end, public employees are those who perform remunerated functions in the Public Administrations at the service of the general interests.
  3. In no case may those who are in any of the circumstances provided for in sections 2 and 3 of article 12 of the Law of Cantabria 10/2006, of 17 July, on Subsidies of Cantabria, be awarded.
  4. The requirements shall be accredited in accordance with the provisions of Article 6.1 of this Order.
  5. The identity of all persons participating in the prize will be kept confidential, and only the name and surnames of the winning person or persons will be publicized. In the case of working groups, the natural person responsible for the management of the team will be expressly accredited, who will be the person who appears as the applicant in the standard application form.

The application and the works may be submitted to the General Electronic Registry of the Administration of the Autonomous Community of Cantabria or to any other assistance office of the general electronic registry of those provided for in article 134.6 of the Law of Cantabria 5/2018, of November 22, on the Legal Regime of the Government, the Administration and the Institutional Public Sector of the Autonomous Community of Cantabria, including that of the ICAP "Rafael de la Sierra", located at Finca Riosequillo, s/n, 39690 La Concha de Villaescusa (Cantabria), which will issue the appropriate receipt with the date and time of receipt, as well as the title of the work delivered. Likewise, they may send them by registered mail to the same address with the heading ICAP Research Award "Rafael de la Sierra" (Category A or B), without the identity of the author appearing on the postal shipment, in accordance with the provisions of Article 24.3 of the Regulations on the provision of postal services, approved by Royal Decree 1829/1999. of 3 December.
