Requirements

Specific waste from healthcare activities whose collection, transport, storage and recovery or disposal are subject to special requirements to prevent the transmission of an infectious disease shall not be transported in the same vehicle with other waste or products.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, after notifying the body of the Autonomous Community with competence in environmental matters in accordance with the model established in Annex VI of Decree 68/2010, of 7 October, which regulates health and similar waste in the Autonomous Community of Cantabria, this waste may be transported together with any other waste that is cytotoxic or cytostatic or chemical products. provided that said waste has the same manager as its recipient.
